The SwinCar’s independent suspension system and individual electric motors allow it to navigate through rugged landscapes effortlessly. The Swincar provides an exhilarating experience for all ages. Whether you have young children or teenagers, the thrill of exploring the outdoors is an incredible bonding experience for the entire family. Children as young as three years old can join in on the fun, as the Swincar's design ensures a secure and comfortable ride for them. I did the discovery ride with my son, 6 years old, and he absolutely loved it. Sebastien did have to search for a moment to find an XS helmet for him! Odin kept telling me to go fast through the mud!
One thing to be aware of is that you do need a valid driving licence to be the driver of one of the SwinCars. Any nationality-valid driving licence is fine.

The vehicle's innovative design allows for disabled access by moving the front wheels outwards, creating ample space for individuals with mobility challenges to easily enter the front seat. Plus all the driving and control is done by the levers and buttons on the handles. So once your legs are comfortably in the SwinCar, you don’t use them to control the vehicle in any way.

When it comes to family adventures, safety is paramount. The Swincar prioritises the well-being of its occupants, with features designed to keep everyone secure. As a parent of 2 adventurous boys, they are always pushing me out of my comfort zone! But it is essential to me that when they participate in these adrenaline-fueled activities, all the correct safety precautions are in place. And the SwinCar ticks these safety boxes.
The four-wheel independent suspension system provides excellent stability and control, reducing the risk of tipping or accidents on uneven terrain. Additionally, the children sit in the back seat, which has a good-fitting harness seatbelt, plus of course, a helmet. Both Odin and I felt comfortable, safe and secure and able to enjoy the ride with no safety concerns.

And they really are silent! Whilst we were exploring, I kept realising I could hear the surrounding countryside, the birds, and cowbells. I could easily speak to Odin in the seat behind me.

Whilst we were out on our discovery ride in July, we saw eagles, a family of weasels, cows, horses and goats in the local farms, plus a walking excursion of all the husky dogs keeping fit in the summer, ready for their winter sledges! And the best part is that because the SwinCars are electric and silent, the animals are not spooked or scared away by the vehicles.

How to book SwinCar La Plagne with E-Mouv’Nature

There are several options available to head out and explore on the La Plagne SwinCars.
- Discovery Ride
A 1-hour discovery ride (1 hour) 15min briefing + 45min ride
Departures at 10.30 am, 2 pm or 3.30 pm Sunday to Thursday Departure at 10.30 am Friday
70€ for the driver, plus 25€ for a passenger.
- Trapper Fourmet Ride
Monday to Thursday evening.
The “Trapper” gourmet outing which lasts 3hr30 with a meal at Le Forperet restaurant.
Leaves at 6 pm and returns to the resort at 9.30 pm.
110€ for the driver and 30€ for the passenger (meal not included).
- Overnight stop
Every Friday, meeting at 5.30 pm to leave at 6 pm.
If you really want to explore La Plagne and the local mountains, you can also do an overnight stop at the Mont Jouvet Refuge. Heading off from MontAlbert and climbing to the Mont Jovet refuge, arriving at about 7 pm. Enjoy a traditional Savoyard dinner and then sleep at the refuge. With breakfast the following morning and then a ride back to Montalbert to the meeting point.
