MEET THAT'S LA PLAGNE

Hi, I'm Jen!
I'm a UK native who left my full-time career in Marketing in 2021 to start exploring freelance snow sports and travel life!
Like so many people, I was taught to go to University, get a degree and find a “real job”. It never occurred to me that I could opt out of these societal norms! Well, part of my uni degree was a year working in the industry, and I won a coveted place at an international firm in Antibes, South France. This opened my eyes to the fact that I could work and travel at the same time!
After graduation, I took off on a gap year. A summer working in America as an Outdoor Adventure leader at a camp in Connecticut. Winter was for “just one” ski season in 2005!
And I never looked back! I've spent the past two decades working and living in the outdoor adventure industry. Working with UK tour operators for nearly 20 years, I think I must have answered thousands of questions, all centred around family travel.
So, in 2021, I created That's La Plagne to help parents find answers and build their confidence to take their families skiing.
