The love festival is back at the summit! For a change from the traditional restaurant, go to the Grande Rochette summit to experience a gourmet and romantic moment in the ski area of La Plagne.

Unique La Plagne Valentine's Ideas for you to try!
7 Relax with a Couples Spa Day
Skiing is exhilarating, but it can also be taxing on the body. What better way to unwind than a spa day? Imagine a couples massage or a private sauna session with breathtaking views of the snow-covered mountains. It’s relaxation and romance rolled into one. My absolute favourite spa in La Plagne is the Deep Nature Spa in Belle Plagne, but check out this popular blog post about all the top La Plagne spa and massage places.
8 Secluded Mountain Top Picnic
Swap the busy restaurant scene for a quiet picnic atop the mountains. And La Plagne has some beautiful picnic spots to choose from! Pack a hamper with local delicacies – think fine cheeses, artisanal chocolates, and maybe a bottle of bubbly. Find a secluded spot with a view, lay down your blanket, and enjoy a meal with a panorama that can't be beaten.
If you’re thinking of doing it, my top tip is to head to one of the village bakeries to pick up the most delicious pastries, cakes and chocolate treats!
9 Snowshoe to a Romantic Cabin
For adventurous couples, a guided snowshoe outing to a secluded cabin or mountain-top restaurant could be the highlight of your Valentine's Day. Picture a quaint restaurant in the woods, a warm fire, and a cosy dinner for two. It's a chance to disconnect and focus on each other in a setting straight out of a fairy tale.
10 Dine at a High-Altitude Restaurant
For a culinary adventure, head to a mountain restaurant. Accessible only by ski or snowmobile, these eateries offer gourmet meals with a side of stunning panoramic views. It’s the perfect blend of adventure and fine dining.
Here are some of the best restaurants around La Plagne I would recommend for a Valentines’ Day long lunch or a romantic evening dinner.
11 Romantic or Adrenaline Rush, Night-Time Sledding
Ok, so it’s not super romantic! But for the more adventurous out there, the nighttime super luge and sledging are great fun! Imagine shooting down 7 km of slopes with your bestie, from the top of Aime 2000, down to La Roche. Lots of companies offer this, but the OG and best, in my opinion, are Oxygene Ski School.
