La Plagne has plenty for non-skiers, those looking for a more chilled holiday, and of course, those looking to relax and unwind after a day on the La Plagne ski slopes. Today, we’re looking at the La Plagne spas!

As you can imagine, this article was absolutely terrible to research – but I thoroughly researched and quality-controlled all the La Plagne Spa facilities for you.

The spas in La Plagne provide an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While La Plagne is renowned for its ski slopes, we also have some great spa facilities that cater to those seeking tranquillity, rejuvenation, and holistic wellness.

La Plagne caters to all kinds of travellers, from families to couples and solo adventurers. The ski resort offers both public spas and exclusive spa hotels, ensuring everyone can enjoy a rejuvenating experience during their stay. La Plagne Spa Hotels

Let’s dive into the La Plagne’s Hotel Spa scene and where you can stay if you want to combine your next family ski holiday or Alpine summer vacation with some R & R.

Hotel Araucaria Nuxe Spa, Plagne Centre

Hotel Araucaria Address: 80 Montee de la Lovatiere, La Plagne Centre, 73210

Hotel Araucaria, located in Plagne Centre, is a top choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat amidst the mountains. There is also a dedicated “Too Fruit” kids’ treatment menu for ages 6 to 12 to enjoy their first massage or facial experiences.

The only downside to the Nuxe Spa at the Hotel Araucaria is that is is all on the basement level of the hotel, with no windows or natural light. So the facilities are great, but you can’t relax and enjoy the Alpine vista whilst you are at the spa.

The Nuxe spa area at Hotel Araucaria has an ice cave, sauna, hammam, hydromassage jets, a small swimming pool at 28C and also a small splash pool for younger children and toddlers.

Address: Mâcot-la-Plagne, 73210 Plagne Soleil, France

New for winter 2022/23, the White Pearl Lodge & Spa is a 5* residence in Plagne Soleil. The lodge itself is tucked away to the side of Plagne Soleil, enjoying a private, dedicated ski-in/ski-out piste to the front door. La Plagne Public Spas

Those are the main La Plagne spa hotels, but if you aren’t booked into a hotel with a spa, don’t worry! There are several public La Plagne spa options available for you. Let’s check them out here, and then you can pick the best one for you.

Deep Nature Spa, Belle Plagne

Address: Belle Plagne, 73210 Mâcot-la-Plagne, France

Deep Nature Spa, located in Belle Plagne, is arguably the most famous La Plagne spa. Covering over 1500m2, this is where to head if you are looking for a dedicated, premium spa experience in La Plagne. I love that Deep Nature La Plagne also has a separate adults-only space and a family area. So I can choose whether to head to the spa with my family and explore the family area or opt out of family time and go with friends and enjoy a chilled adults-only experience.

If you head to the adults-only space, you will be able to enjoy:

  • counter-current swimming
  • Multiple jacuzzis and outdoor Nordic baths offer a breathtaking view.
  • Indoors you will find 3 saunas: including 1 bio sauna
  • 1 steam room
  • 1 salt cave
  • 1 relaxation and herbal tea room.

Then, in the 170m family spa space, you will find swan necks, a vertical water sheet, geysers, a water lounger area, a counter-current walkway and underwater jets for the back, legs and feet. Plus, of course, the outdoor pool which will help you forget the pressures of everyday life.

Then, if you are looking for spa treatments, the Deep Nature chain has created its own bespoke massages and treatments. You can book massages, facials, and other beauty treatments. Deep Nature Spa caters to all your relaxation needs.

JENS TOP TIP: I rarely book a spa treatment but will often head here with friends for an afternoon. You can book a 2-hour access to the premium / adults-only area (the family space is also included if you want to head there) for 40€. This also includes flip-flops and towels, which I think is pretty good value.

If I am heading here with my children, we will book a family spa access, which is 15€ per child and 20€ per adult. The child rate is for babies 6 months old to 15-year-old teens. This is also for up to 2 hours but doesn’t include flip-flops or towels.

Spa Bellecôte

Address: Immeuble Maeva, Bellecôte, 73210 Macot La Plagne, France

You will find the Spa Bellecôte in the main gallery in Bellecôte. You might be forgiven for walking past the entrance as it is just a small doorway, with the treatment rooms found on the lower floors.

The Spa Bellecôte has a sauna, hammam, and private jacuzzi facilities for you to enjoy, as well as a range of massages, body wraps, beauty treatments, plus manicures and pedicures, and waxing. You can also bundle together access to a jacuzzi, Hamman or sauna with some treatments for a little more luxury.

The Spa Bellecôte is a great facility with really good treatments, but they don’t have the mountain views or alfresco spa experience you might be looking for. But it is a great spot to unwind after a day of skiing or hiking.

Open throughout the year, Spa Bellecôte ensures you can enjoy tranquillity no matter when you visit.

Lea Spa & Bien-Être, Plagne Centre

Address: 118 rue du refuge, Galerie Le Pelvoux, Plagne Centre, 73210

New in winter 2022/23, Lea Spa & Bien-Être in Plagne Centre is located just below the Oxygene Ski School office. The space created by Lea is dedicated to massages, which are bespoke to you and your body’s needs. There is also the sauna and jacuzzi that you can book for a private session on its own or combine together with a massage.

A little like the Spa Bellecôte, the space is a great spot to unwind after a ski day or summer hike, but it is all below ground, so you don’t get that additional buzz of the Alpine views that the Deep Nature can offer.

  • Lea Spa & Bien-Être La Plagne opening dates, hours and prices
