Head to the Colorado chairlift in Plagne Centre where you can buy your tickets. You’ll then hop onto the lift here and collect your mountain buggy at the top.

There’s blue for beginners or first-timers and red for experienced riders and those looking for more for a thrill. The routes are carefully maintained to ensure a smooth ride, with plenty of twists and turns to keep things exciting.

However, it is an activity for the older kids who will have the strength to pull the breaks and control the carts. Rather than an age limit, it’s a height restriction with a minimum height of 1m30. Children younger than 10 must be accompanied by an adult and carts are designed for 1 person only. So children can’t sit on your lap.

You can’t book the mountain carting ahead of doing it, but you can buy your tickets online in advance. However, you can also buy your tickets at the Colorado lift – this is what we did.

5 downhills : 84€
10 downhills : 157€
The cost includes the cart rental, helmet, and lift pass to ride up to the starting point.
