I say “hidden gem” because if you are staying in La Plagne but in one of the 10 other La Plagne ski towns rather than Belle Plagne, you might not be familiar with La Face Nord. If you are staying in Belle Plagne, then lucky you! Because La Face Nord will be one of your local restaurants!

When my husband and I were there in April, I enjoyed one of the most delicious lunches I had all season. I had a pan-seared tuna steak with seasonal vegetables, and it was perfect! My husband enjoyed a steak and homemade chips. It was also great, and I did have to steal a few of the homemade chips -for quality control purposes!

Located right at the heart of Belle Plagne, La Face Nord couldn't be more convenient for locals and visitors alike. If you are skiing, simply ski to the top of Belle Plagne and unclip your skis. La Face Nord is one of the first restaurants you will come to at the top of the pedestrian street.
Living in La Plagne, I often find myself heading up to La Face Nord as a pedestrian. If you are staying outside of Belle Plagne, then jump on the free gondola lift from La Plagne Bellecôte. When you get off the lift, you can stroll to the restaurant with ease, and enjoy the picturesque Belle Plagne village centre – Belle Plagne is one of the prettiest La Plagne villages.
For those staying in Belle Plagne, La Face Nord is a mere stone's throw away from numerous accommodations and attractions. Just follow the signs or ask any of the friendly locals for directions, and you'll be immersed in the culinary delights of La Face Nord in no time.
