Belle Plagne is one of the highest villages in La Plagne and has immediate access to some of the best skiing conditions. It also has super easy access to a variety of slopes, making it a great choice for skiers of all levels.
- Beginner Friendliness: The village has an easy beginner slope running through the village itself. Plus, a dedicated beginner area with a small drag lift, not as good as a magic carpet for little skiers, but the drag lift is very smooth and easy for children and beginners to use.
- One thing to be aware of is that the blue slopes from Belle Plagne down to Bellecôte are quite steep and can be very busy, making them a little daunting for beginner and nervous skiers. I would recommend taking the Roche de Mio Gondola down to Bellecôte if you are a nervous skier and then exploring the easier blue pistes around Bellecôte.
- Accessibility and Ski Lifts: Belle Plagne is well-connected by a network of ski lifts, providing easy access to the entire La Plagne area. Within minutes you can be skiing over 2000m and on-route to any of the other La Plagne ski areas.
