So, what makes Riders Nation Snow Park so exceptional? Well, for starters, it checks all the boxes for a perfect freestyle experience.
- Easy Access: Getting to Riders Nation is a breeze. If you're in the La Plagne altitude villages, just head to Bellecôte and hop on the Arpette chairlift. Ski down the Replat blue piste, take the rope drag across the flat section toward Montchavin, and you're there. If you're coming from Montchavin, simply ride the Dos Rond or Plan Leschaux chairlifts to the top.
- Varied Terrain for All Abilities: Riders Nation doesn't discriminate. It has different sections catering to all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned pros. So, whether you're a little ripper just starting or a freestyle veteran, there's something here for you.

- Well-Maintained: You'll find that the park is meticulously groomed and shaped, ensuring that every run is smooth and safe. I think I’ve seen the park team there most days we have headed in that direction, and they regularly change up the features as well, to keep it fun.
- Chill-Out Zone: Need a breather or want to watch others shred? There's a great chill-out area mid-snow park. I think it's one of the best picnic spots in La Plagne. Plus, you can refuel at the Pierres Blanches restaurant at the bottom. You’ll find the abandoned parents of a lot of teenagers chilling out here with a hot chocolate whilst their kids session the La Plagne snow park!
Other Fun Snow Parks and Spaces in La Plagne
While Riders Nation is the crown jewel, La Plagne has more to offer:
La Plagne Fun Slope: If you have kids like I do, you'll love the 1.6 km long fun slope, the longest in Europe! Head to the top of the Arpette chairlift and take a left when you get off. It's hours of family fun. I’m not exaggerating when I say we have to visit the La Plagne fun slope most days when we head out family skiing!
Buffalo Park: Located off the Colorado chairlift in Plagne Centre, it's perfect for younger kids. Just be prepared for it to get a bit busy during peak times. It also has a great picnic spot half-way down.
Bellecôte Half Pipe: Just above the Blanchette chairlift starting point, it's small, and not brilliantly shaped. But still tons of fun for kids. They love riding up and down the sides and attempting little hops.
Freestyle Zone in Champagny La Plagne: This space features a snowboard cross area where you can race with your friends and family. It's usually less crowded and a great place to have fun with the kids.
