This Christmas, I got some Stance ski socks, and they are my new favourite ski socks. Lightweight, but with padding and support where you need them. They also come in a huge range of patterns and designs. So you can find something fun and unique for your ski mum too!

It doesn't have to be fancy or cost the world—I mean, sure, we'd all love a pot of Creme de La Mer lip balm! But there are lots of wallet-friendly options designed for the ski slopes to keep your mum looking and feeling great.

Perfect for the environmentally conscious mum, a stylish, durable thermal flask will keep her hydrated or warm with her favourite drink, whether she’s on a chairlift or taking in the views of Mont Blanc. And it doesn't have to be a massive Stanley Cup – although I do love mine! But something useful for a ski holiday, or fun for après ski. We have 2 of these, and they fit perfectly into ski jacket pockets – plus, the small carabiner means you can also clip them onto your bag so you don't lose them over a chairlift!
My sister got me these amazing picnic/reusable Prosecco glasses which are amazing, because nothing ruins Prosecco at après ski than having to drink out of rubbish kids plastic cups!

Last year, these were on my gift list – and I finally have some! I have a pair of SnowShepherd Tourer Gloves, that are thin and warm but also allow me to use my phone. Another idea is a ski-themed cookbook, like Après All Day. It is American, so some of the ideas are a little different from European ski meals, but there are some great meal ideas to recreate at home.

I have a pair of snowboard earrings that I absolutely love – they're a little nod to my time on the mountain, and they always get compliments. I found mine on a random market stall, but you can find some great options online, from delicate snowflake necklaces to tiny ski boot charms. I really like these dangling snowboarder earrings.

1. Spa Day at a Mountain Spa
Book her a relaxing day at a spa in the ski resort. A massage, facial, or a full spa package can be the perfect way to relax after hitting the slopes.
Top tip: check whether she wants some company at the spa before inviting yourself! Maybe mum would like some alone time to relax and unwind!
And finally, once you've given the voucher or the spa gift, actually make the booking for her – take away the mental load of having to organise the experience. This is itself will double he appeal of the gift, trust me!
2. Ski Pass for a Day at a Premium Slope
Surprise her with a day pass to a premium slope or ski area within the resort that she's always wanted to try but never did. For example, in La Plagne, where I live, you could upgrade your ski passes for the day to head over to Les Arcs from the day.
3. Mountain Top Dining Experience
This one might need a little more organisation, especially if you're sending mum and dad out for a meal together without the kids. You also need to arrange some childcare.
But organising a special dinner or lunch at a mountain-top restaurant accessible by ski or gondola will make for an unforgettable meal. The combination of delicious Alpine food and breathtaking views will make for an unforgettable meal.
4. Private Ski Lesson or Guide
If she's keen on improving her skills or exploring new parts of the resort safely, a private ski lesson or a day with a ski guide can be an incredible gift. And you can completely tell your ski mum this. From an off-piste experience to an hour focusing on a specific ski skill, like carving or even jumping in the snow park!

Find a service that creates custom ski maps and has one made of her favourite ski slopes or the resort you're visiting. It's a unique keepsake that she can treasure.
I really like Frozen Under Ground which makes piste maps to look like the London Underground. They don't have a La Plagne one yet so I haven't treated myself!
I also really like The Line, which makes metal outlines of city skylines or mountainscapes. We have the Hong Kong skyline (8where my husband is from) but they also have some great mountain scapes which I'm keep to get my hands on.
