Le Flocon Restaurant: The Best Crepes in La Plagne?

Restaurant Le Flocon La Plagne

If you're looking for a family-friendly spot in Plagne Bellecôte to enjoy delicious crêpes and more, Le Flocon is an excellent choice. This relaxed crêperie has been delighting visitors since 1977 with its wide range of sweet and savoury offerings.

Menu Options and Quality of Food

Le Flocon specialises in traditional Breton crêpes and galettes. On my last visit, I particularly enjoyed the salted caramel crêpe, which was a perfect blend of sweet and salty flavours. And it was literally dripping with the sauce, which was delicious! The kids loved their Nutella crêpes, which were generously filled and eaten in record time. Beyond crêpes, Le Flocon also offers a variety of other options such as salads, paninis, and a selection of refreshing ice creams and ice slushy drinks, which are perfect for a sunny day.

The menu caters to a wide range of tastes, ensuring there's something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for a classic ham and cheese galette or a sweet treat, Le Flocon delivers high-quality, tasty food every time.

Family-Friendliness and Atmosphere

Le Flocon is very family-friendly, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal with the kids. The interior is pretty chilled and welcoming, with seating for 40 people inside and an additional 60 seats on the sunny terrace. The terrace is both covered and heated, making it an enjoyable dining spot regardless of the weather. The atmosphere is laid-back and inviting, perfect for families looking to unwind after a busy day on the slopes.

The attentive and friendly staff at Le Flocon ensure a pleasant dining experience for all guests. They also provide quick and efficient service, which is especially appreciated when dining with young children who might not have the patience for long waits.

Service and Pricing

Service at Le Flocon is both rapid and uninterrupted, making it ideal for families who need a quick and satisfying meal. There is a takeaway window if you’re on the move. It’s directly opposite the swimming pool in Bellecôte and we nearly always stop here after a swim to refuel!

Then, of course, you can choose to sit down and eat in Le Flocon. The staff is efficient and always ready to help with any special requests. Pricing is reasonable, offering good value for the quality of the food and the portion sizes. Le Flocon accepts various payment methods, including credit cards, cash, and restaurant vouchers, adding to the convenience for diners.

Booking and Contact Information

Le Flocon is open daily throughout the winter ski season and the summer season. It is closed in the inter-season months. Evening service is available by reservation. Given its popularity, especially during the busy ski season, it’s advisable to book ahead to secure your table. Also, be aware that if the main restaurant is super busy, the takeaway window will stop serving—this has happened to me before.

You can contact Le Flocon at +33 4 79 09 08 97 or just visit them in the commercial gallery of Plagne Bellecôte, just opposite the Magic Swimming Pool.
