From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I was in for a treat.

The Food and Joya La Plagne Menu

Joya truly excels when it comes to serving up mouthwatering bar food delights. Their menu boasts a wide variety of options, with a special focus on their gourmet burgers and home made chips (more like roasted, chipped new potatoes) that will leave you craving for more. From classic favourites to creative twists, Joya's menu has something to please every palate.

Joya also caters to vegans and vegetarians, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their culinary creations. Their plant-based burger options are a delight, with patties made from ingredients like black beans, mushrooms, and quinoa. These vegan and vegetarian alternatives are just as delicious as their meat counterparts, providing a wide range of choices for those with dietary preferences.

I jumped straight in with one of the famous Joya burgers, and I have to say, Joya knows how to deliver perfection between two buns. In fact, the bun was one of the highlights, because when it arrived I was worried there was too much bread, but actually, the bun is super light – without being that sweet-brioche style that a lot of places use.

I opted for their vegan Joya Burger, with a vegetarian vegetable burger (not an imitation meat burger) and vegan cheese and all the fixings. It was yummy! The first bite was a revelation – cooked to perfection and the toppings added a wonderful combination of textures and tastes. The accompanying homemade and crispy chips were the perfect sidekick, providing the ideal crunch to complement the burger. The friend I was having lunch with had one of the meat burgers and was equally wowed. And she also opted for salad rather than the chips, and even though my chips were great, I was envious of her side salad too!

I also had the desert of the day and I’d eaten it before I remembered to take a photo! But it was also delicious, a home made melty brownie with ice cream. The Joya dessert menu changes daily so check the menu to see the dessert of the day.

As well as burgers, you can find vegetarian and vegan salad bowls, weekly specialities like pulled pork and delicious côte du boeuf.

How to Get to Joya La Plagne

Getting to Joya is a breeze! Located in the heart of La Plagne Centre, it's easily accessible whether you're staying in the village or nearby. The restaurant is conveniently situated within walking distance of several accommodations, and is also only about 50m from the Plagne Centre bus centre. If you are skiing, you will need to take your skis off at the snow front and walk down to the restaurant, about 20m. So the Joya location is perfect after a day on the slopes, or to meet non-skiing friends. If you're driving, parking is available nearby, but is in high demand in winter ski season, so you might struggle to find a space. I would recommend parking further out of Plagne Cetnre and walking into the main area.
