This is my insider guide for where to enjoy the day, from slope-side après ski to late-night parties. Whether you're looking to relax with friends or enjoy a lively evening, here are the top spots to mark St. Patrick's Day in La Plagne.

  • Opening Hours: 9 AM to 5 PM. Après ski starts at around 2.30 PM, making it the perfect first stop after a day on the slopes.

  • Opening Hours: 4 PM to 2 AM. The fancy dress party usually kicks off around 9 PM for the evening live music gig.

3. Le Bonnet: Cosy Celebration

Le Bonnet offers a mix of chilled vibes earlier in the day and festivity for après! It’s a great spot to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

  • Location: Bellecôte snow front.
  • How to get there: Skiers can ski in from Belle Plagne or from Plagne Village and Plagne Centre. Or, take the free shuttle bus to Bellecôte. Le Bonnet is a 5 minute walk up from the shops on the snowfront in Bellecôte.
  • Opening Hours: 10 AM to 12 AM, ideal for those looking to start their celebrations early or wind down with a cosy nightcap.

4. Bodega: The Party Continues

  • How to get there: The pedestrian bubble lift is free and runs between Bellecôte and Belle Plagne. Bodega is right next to where you get off the lift, super easy to find.
  • Opening Hours: 6 PM to 4 AM, making it the go-to place for night owls looking for a late night party.

5. Spitting Feathers Pub: Live Music and Party Vibes

  • Location: Bellecôte Snowfront, just opposite the Matafan restaurant.
  • How to get there: Easily accessible by the free shuttle bus, Spitting Feathers Pub is 1 minute from the bus stop.
  • Opening Hours: 3 PM to 1 AM, with live music starting from around 8 pm.

  • Bring Your Fancy Dress: La Plagne may have everything you need for a fantastic ski holiday, but when it comes to fancy dress, you'll want to come prepared. There's nowhere in the resort to buy costumes, so pack your greenest, most festive outfit!
