Le 360 is one of La Plagne's best-kept secrets (well, maybe not so secret anymore!). To get to the restaurant, head over towards Aime 2000. Depending on where you're staying in La Plagne, you can take any of the lifts that lead to Aime 2000, such as the Telemetro from Plagne Centre, and from there, drop down towards La Roche via a few lovely blue and red runs. Just before reaching the base, you'll find where the Adrets and Envers chairlifts meet. Here, you'll hop on the Adrets chairlift, which will take you up to Mont Albert, where Le 360 is located.

At an elevation of 1970 metres, Le 360 is perched at the same height as Plagne Centre, but with far more expansive and unique views. It boasts panoramic 360° vistas of the entire valley, with jaw-dropping sights of Mont Blanc on a clear day and sweeping views across La Plagne's various villages, including Aime 2000, Bellecote, and even back towards Les Coches and Montchavin.

When you arrive at Le 360, expect a warm and friendly greeting. The atmosphere here is relaxed and perfect for families. The music playing in the background is upbeat yet family-friendly—no crazy après-ski party vibes, but definitely the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, and savour the alpine atmosphere after a morning on the slopes.

If you’re planning a visit, Le 360 is open daily for lunch between 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Given its popularity, it’s worth booking in advance, especially if you're aiming for a Saturday barbecue (more on that later).

The best BBQ on the pistes in La Plagne

Le 360 is a relatively new addition to the La Plagne dining scene but has quickly become a favourite for both locals and visitors. One of the standout features is their Saturday BBQ, served alfresco right on the snow.

On our last visit, the BBQ options included a succulent hog roast, côte de boeuf steaks, pulled pork, and several other grilled options. In addition to the BBQ, the restaurant serves up freshly prepared pizzas, roasted chicken, burgers, and fries inside the cosy dining area.

If you can, I recommend booking a table outside. On a sunny day, there’s no better spot to enjoy the fresh air, stunning views, and, of course, that barbecue!

Great Value for Money

One of the best things about Le 360 is its affordability. The portion sizes are extremely generous. My husband and I shared a côte de boeuf that was easily enough for two and half the price you’d pay at one of the larger resort restaurants. The kids' meals were a hit, too. My little boy, who’s four, polished off an entire pizza made fresh in front of him, which, as any parent knows, is a small victory!

The drinks menu is equally impressive, with a nice selection of locally brewed beers and Savoyard wines that pair perfectly with the rich, smoky flavours of the BBQ.

Accessibility at Le 360 La Plagne

One of the best things about Le 360 is its accessibility for both skiers and non-skiers. The restaurant is located right at the top of the Montalbert bubble lift, making it easily reachable for pedestrians coming up from Plagne Montalbert. This makes Le 360 a great meeting point if you have a mixed group of skiers and non-skiers or if you’re meeting family or friends who want to enjoy a mountain meal without skiing. From Montalbert, it's a simple gondola ride up, and you're right at the doorstep of Le 360.

While the location is great for accessibility, it's worth noting that there are a few limitations once you arrive. Unfortunately, the toilets are located downstairs in the building, which isn’t ideal for those in wheelchairs or with buggies. There is a lift available, but when I visited, it wasn’t operational, so it’s something to keep in mind when planning your visit, especially if you’re with little ones in strollers or someone with reduced mobility.

Le 360’s ease of access by lift is a huge plus for non-skiers, but the lack of reliable accessibility within the building itself may be a downside for those needing step-free access.

Getting There: Family and Beginner Friendly

If you’re worried about the logistics of getting to Le 360, don’t be! It’s easier than it sounds. You can ski to it via blue runs from most areas, including Plagne Montalbert, Plagne Soleil, and Belle Plagne, so it's very accessible even if you're not an advanced skier.

And as mentioned, if you’re not skiing, it’s possible to take the Montalbert bubble lift, making it a great spot for non-skiers to join the lunch crowd, too!

If you’re planning a ski trip to La Plagne, it’s worth mixing up your dining experiences. While Le 360 is a standout, there are plenty of other excellent spots to check out:

La Bergerie – Located on the slopes above Plagne Villages, this mountain restaurant is known for its cosy alpine vibe and hearty dishes. Make sure to try their fondue or raclette!
Le Forperet – Set just above Montalbert, Le Forperet offers a rustic dining experience in an old converted farmhouse. Their home-cooked Savoyard meals are to die for, and the sledging activity outside is great for the kids.
Le Matafan – In Belle Plagne, Le Matafan is a must-visit if you’re a fan of traditional French cuisine with a twist. Their tartiflette is a crowd-pleaser, and they offer excellent vegetarian options.
Le Plagne du Baton – Located in Plagne Centre, this is a great place to stop for a quick lunch or après-ski. The service is super fast, and the food is great., and the views from the terrace are lovely.
Le Chalet des Colosses – Over in Bellecôte, this mountain restaurant is known for its great food and sun terrace. It’s the perfect spot for families with kids.
Au Coin du Feu – For something a bit more intimate, Au Coin du Feu in Plagne Soleil is a small, family-run restaurant offering delicious traditional dishes with a contemporary twist.
Le Bon Vieux Temps – Another gem in Aime 2000, this restaurant offers authentic Savoyard cuisine with generous portions, perfect after a long day on the slopes.
Le Dou du Praz – A bit more off the beaten path, this restaurant above Plagne Soleil offers stunning views and excellent local food. Perfect for a leisurely lunch on a sunny day.

It’s also much more accessible than it may first appear, especially for beginners or families with young kids.
