Les Inversens is called an Altitude restaurant. This is because it’s a high altitude, located at the Roche de Mio peak, 2400m. Les Inversens altitude restaurant is a dining experience like no other. With it's views and delicious cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a foodie or simply looking for a special night out, Les Inversens will impress.
Les Inversens Menu and Food Quality
The menu at Les Inversens altitude restaurant is a true culinary delight. The dishes are expertly crafted using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. From the appetizers to the desserts, each dish is presented beautifully. The restaurant specializes in traditional French and Savoyarde cuisine with a modern twist.
There are several dining options at Les Inversens. There is a fast-food snack option for quick lunch stops. The food is good and a great option for a quick bite to eat if you’re skiing with family and kids.
Then, there is the seated waiter service with a larger lunch menu. Les Inversens menu is large and features daily changing specials, including meat, fish, and vegetarian and vegan options. They also have regular Prosecco and Oyster parties which are advertised on their social media – Instagram – channel.
New for winter 2022/23 ski season, there is also an outdoor BBQ/Brazerade option. This is at a seated table where you grill your own selection of meats with a variety of accompaniments. There is only one table so far so absolutely book ahead, minimum booking is for 4 people.
The wine list is also impressive, especially for a restaurant at 2400m above sea level. With a wide selection of local and international wines, Prosecco, and Champagnes to choose from. As well as local beers and a fully stocked bar. Overall, the food quality at Les Inversens is exceptional and is sure to satisfy even the most discerning foodie.
Atmosphere and ambiance at Les Inversens
The atmosphere and ambiance of Les Inversens are great. The restaurant is located at an altitude of 2400 meters, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. There are several different seating options. You can choose from the large outdoor terrace, perfect for alfresco lung sunny lunches. There is a solarium-style creperie and fast snack food area on the terrace and also indoor seating. The food here is self-service, great for a quick stop. Then upstairs, you have the waiter service menu to choose from. There is indoor and outdoor seating up here.
In addition to the great views and delicious food, the service and staff at Les Inversens Altitude restaurant are also top-notch. The waitstaff is knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and they are happy to make recommendations based on your preferences.
From mid-afternoon, the music will be turned up, creating a lively and fun atmosphere. The music is a mix of genres and is generally family-friendly. TOP TIPS
- Book ahead if you’re in La Plagne and it's a busy peak week
- You do need to be a confident skier on blue and red pistes to get to Les Inversens. So this isn’t one for beginner skiers
- Try some of the local Savoyarde beers which go perfectly with the menu.
