Why Choose La Plagne for Spring Skiing?

Spring skiing in La Plagne is an experience like no other. With longer days, warmer weather, and slopes that are less crowded. It offers the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Plus, Plagne is what we call a high-altitude resort, with 70% of the pistes above 2000m. And we regularly see decent snowfall in the March/April spring months.

5. Le 360: Panoramic Dining at Its Finest

As its name suggests, Le 360 offers a dining experience enveloped by panoramic mountain views. This terrace is a favourite among those who appreciate the best things in life—stunning scenery, yummy food, and the warmth of the spring sun. The menu changes daily and is self-service. They have weekly BBQs, a pizza station, and other events going on. My kids love the pizza station, where they can watch the chef making the pizza. I swear it makes them eat more!

Preparing for Your Sunny Terrace Experience

To fully enjoy these sunny terrace dining experiences, a little preparation goes a long way.

  • Dressing in layers is key, as the weather can change quickly in the mountains.
  • Don’t forget your sunscreen to protect against the strong alpine sun.
  • Sunglasses are a must-have for the bright glare of the snow.
  • I always stick a beanie hat in my pocket as well to protect my scalp from the sun and also so I don’t have to worry about helmet hair!

Consider planning your terrace lunches as part of a broader day out, combining them with other activities in La Plagne for a day filled with fun and indulgence.
